In this article, we'll guide you through the steps for generating, setting up, and linking your Kraken API key with Normal Finance.

Normal is a financial platform specializing in indexing cryptocurrencies. It simplifies the cryptocurrency acquisition process, making it as easy as a single click. Normal Finance has pioneered the world's first crypto index fund tool, streamlining the trading experience.

All trading activities are conducted and processed through an exclusive exchange API key assigned to each user. An API key offers a secure and dependable means of utilizing the platform, as it does not grant access to personal data and ensures the safeguarding of fund management activities, such as withdrawals and deposits.

Access your Kraken account by logging in or establish a new account.

To create a new key, go to the Settings in your profile icon located at the top-right corner.

Go to the Security tab by accessing the Settings page.

To generate a fresh API key, kindly select the [Create API Key] option located within the API section.

Modify your permissions as demonstrated in the example provided. These permissions will grant Normal the ability to access your transaction history, view your current balance, and execute trades on your exchange account.

To finalize this procedure, kindly scroll down to the window's bottom and select the [Create] button.

After generating your new Kraken API key, a window will pop up displaying Public and Secret keys. Kindly copy and securely store these keys in a safe place, such as a password manager, for future reference.

Access your Normal account, navigate to the "Exchanges" section, and select "Add new exchange".

Copy and paste your Kraken API key and Secret key, then click the [Connect] button. Your connection to your Kraken account is now established successfully!
