In this article, we'll guide you through the steps for generating, setting up, and linking your OKX API key with Normal.

Normal is a financial platform specializing in indexing cryptocurrencies. It simplifies the cryptocurrency acquisition process, making it as easy as a single click. Normal has pioneered the world's first crypto index fund tool, streamlining the trading experience.

All trading activities are conducted and processed through an exclusive exchange API key assigned to each user. An API key offers a secure and dependable means of utilizing the platform, as it does not grant access to personal data and ensures the safeguarding of fund management activities, such as withdrawals and deposits.

Log in to your OKX account or create a new one.

Navigate to the API page from your account settings (top-right corner).

Click [Create V5 API Key] to proceed.

To create an API key for Normal, click on the [API trading] button in the Purpose section.

Give your API key any name (it is your personal choice), so you can easily understand that this key is connected to your Normal account.

Edit your permissions as in the example below. These permissions will allow us to read your history, current balance and execute trades on your exchange account.

Here is the list of required permissions:

Insert all the codes for the security verification, and proceed by clicking the [Confirm] button.

Now your OKX trading key is successfully created and ready to be connected to our platform! Please copy your API and Secret keys somewhere safe before adding them to Normal.

Access your Normal account, navigate to the "Exchanges" section, and select your preferred exchange.

From the pop-up window, you need to select OKX. In the Manual Connect window, you can paste your API key, Secret key, and Passphrase. Then click [Connect].
