In this article, we'll guide you through the steps for generating, setting up, and linking your Binance.US API key with Normal.

Normal is a financial platform specializing in indexing cryptocurrencies. It simplifies the cryptocurrency acquisition process, making it as easy as a single click. Normal Finance has pioneered the world's first crypto index fund tool, streamlining the trading experience.

All trading activities are conducted and processed through an exclusive exchange API key assigned to each user. An API key offers a secure and dependable means of utilizing the platform, as it does not grant access to personal data and ensures the safeguarding of fund management activities, such as withdrawals and deposits.

1. Log in to Binance.US

You can either log into your existing Binance.US account or create a new one.

2. Go to the API Management page

Navigate to the API Management page by accessing your account settings in the top-right corner.

3. Label your API key

Feel free to assign any name to your API key, as it's entirely your personal preference. This will help you readily identify that this key is associated with your Normal account. Once you've made your choice, simply click on the [Create] button when you're prepared.

4. Confirm the creation of API keys

The exchange will forward a confirmation email to your provided email address. Please access the email and confirm the creation of the API key.

5. Match API key restrictions

You should adjust the limitations associated with your API key to grant our platform the necessary access for processing trading activities on your Binance.US account. Please click on the "[Edit restrictions]" option as indicated below and proceed with the provided instructions.

Here is the set of permissions that need to be enabled:

  • Read (already active by default)

  • Enable Spot Trading

  • Allow Unrestricted IP Access

Once you have made the necessary adjustments, click the "[Save]" button.

6. Copy your API key and Secret key

Prior to modifying the permissions of your API key, ensure that you securely store a copy of both your API key and Secret Key. Otherwise, once the API key permissions are altered, the Secret Key will be concealed, necessitating a restart.

7. Go to Normal > My Exchanges

Access your Normal account, navigate to the "Exchanges" section, and select your preferred exchange.

8. Select Binance.US exchange from the list and enter your API and Secret keys

In the pop-up window, follow these steps:

  1. Choose the Binance.US exchange.

  2. Paste your API key.

  3. Paste your Secret key.

  4. Click the [Connect] button.
